DSYSA was established over 20 years ago to provide a safe, healthy environment for the youth of Dripping Springs. There are currently over 3000 participants in our programs (football/cheerleading, basketball, soccer, baseball/softball). DSYSA is a reflection of our community. As our community continues to experience tremendous growth, so does the demand on our youth sports facilities. DSYSA owns facilities and has contractual agreements with City of Dripping Springs and the school district for facility usage. We are at capacity in all facilities.
Based upon Dripping Springs Independent School District’s growth projections, DSYSA has developed 5 and 10 year plans to meet the need of our growing youth sports community. We are working with the City of Dripping Springs to extend use agreements. We are a representative on the steering committee for the formation and development of a new city park (also known as the Harrison Tract). We are exploring the purchase of large tracts of property for future facilities.
DSYSA is instituting a capital campaign "Building Places to Play, As We Grow!" to help fund the purchase of future facilities. Your financial support is much needed and appreciated. As a non-profit association, your donations are tax deductible. DSYSA also needs volunteers with many different talents from professional services to strong backs. If you would like to volunteer your time or services to the youth of Dripping Springs, please contact us.
